More good service

You have to love walking into the LBS (Cranks in North Sydney in this case) for a brake bleed and walking out 5 mins later with it all done despite the 3 customers/3 staff already in there when you arrive.

Thanks guys! Smiling

Yes, yes, must get an Avid kit, but the 7's I have are now about 18 months old, still perfect, never bled.

Anyone interested in group exercise?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Hi all,

I need motivation to exercise and getting myself up at 5am to go for a road ride on my own doing the same route (because it's the only one I can do in the time I have) is not really exciting me. I'm too knackered at the end of a 35 degree day to do much (bar the group ride on Wednesdays). However, this and maybe a weekend ride if I can fit it in isn't really turning me into Cadel.

Leaky forks ?

Hi guys

A friend of mine has been on holiday for a couple of weeks and has come back to find a couple of drops of oil on the bottom of the right fork leg, where the rebound adjuster is . He has a rock shox Tora fork. His bike was stored right side up, on its two wheels .... (I've had some issues when my bike was inadvertantly stored upright and got some leakage from the o-ring at the stanchion...coming back on the train from the gong ride.

Apparently its only one or two drops.

Any thoughts from the highly tech literate crew out there ?

Sunday ride?

Knock knock...

Is anyone there?

As some of us are not riding the Fat Tyre Festival on Sunday, that leaves me with no-one to ride with. Or does it? Is anyone else interested in doing a fun and technical ride on Sunday? That excludes rides like Terrey Hills etc.

Possible Fat Tyre Festival Entry Available

Would anyone be interested in joining a 3 man team for the Sydney Fat Tyre Festival this Sunday? I am currently in the squad, but with a slower than expected recovery from a herniated disc, I am a doubtful starter. I will get the final word from my physio tomorrow on whether I can ride or not.

PM me or call if you're interested.

FYI: The team's other riders are intermediate standard, one NobMobber, one NonMobber, competing in their first race, looking to have fun and do their best.

MTBA Fees

If your going to do the odd race can you sign up for the Rec. Membership or do I need the Senior Membership?

Also is it worth it or should I just pay the one off $15 per event if I'm only going to do 4 or 5 races?

Cheers
Chris

Where Was Your Bike Made

Saw a link to this on Farkin.

It confirms what a lot of us already thought. It would seem that more of us are probably riding Giants than you would suspect.
