Hi there fellow riders, anyone know where the best place to buy comfy & value for money shin/knee pads as mine are copping a hammering . I have seen a few ppl wearing them in different photos . Cheers big Russ

Yeah - those 661 Evos are real comfy. Good for people like me who aren't too hardcore but want a bit of protection now and again.

Got mine from BA (you know - Bike Addiction) a while back. Think I paid 200 bucks for the set (knee + elbow) but dunno what the price is now, been some FX fluctuation since then.

Depends on what riding you're doing. A lot of people will say that solid shell with shin cover is mandatory. Something like the 661 Race Knee/Shin or Fox Launch.

I picked up some O'Neal Pumpguns (MTB specific) from the motorbike store on Wentworth Ave in the city on Friday.

Having used them yesterday at Oxford falls they are lightweight, unobstructive and stay put.

And at $50, you can't complain about the price.

Tanks guys picked up my Fox launch combo today for 100 bucks at Bike addiction , even tho the young bloke at the counter wasn't much help , I hope I came out with the right ones . See you on a ride soon I hope
