Ourimbah XC track
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.
After struggling though the hills at Mogo last year, I thought better of doing the Angry Doctor this year and just have not done enough prep. Anyhow, for those who are not going here is a good ride we can do.
I would like to do 3 laps, but if there is any demand for the DH we can have a crack at that too and do 2 xc laps.
This will be social, but limited stops, so only intermediate riders please.

I am thinking of moving this to 8am cause its going to be hot. Any objection from you guys?

I was going to grab a lift with a motor cross bike rider and then ride with you guys
and he was going to drop me back at Wahroonga after the ride
but the 8am start up there does'nt suit him
Can do an 8am start but would need a lift up from Cammeray
and back to Wahroonga?

Damn, I've got to miss this, since I'll be working that day. Damn shame... it'd be nice for another run around Ourimbah with someone who can keep up (as compared to riding there with my 10 year old son as I usually do).
my sons are now 20 & 22 and I really miss the 10 year old days - enjoy it mate ends too quickly. On the ride I have to be in Gosford for 12.00 and if I can scam a lift and then get dropped at the Gosford turn off on the way back I'd be in (wife is doing 12.00 in Gosford too and I don't want to take 2 cars). Anybody coming from the beaches that might want to share petrol costs?
I will be coming from Ryde so can't help there sorry, but should be able to drop you at Gosford I think.
