Seinfeld's bike has no chain

I rather like to watch old Seinfeld episodes once in a while and noticed yesterday in a shot where he was standing close to the bike (the one hanging in his hall) that it actually didn't have a chain on! I think this episode was titled 'The Seven' (or maybe the one before?) and for some reason looked at the timer and it was around 6m30s into the episode.

If you search around you'll find various stories about Seinfeld's bikes, but I don't think anyone noticed this before Eye-wink

FWIW, the bike in Jerry's hall is usually a green Klein, but I also noticed that at the beginning of one of the early seasons (3 or 4?) that a silver/blue Cannondale appears on his wall for a single episode. Other people have also commented on this and that the Klein changes model and once having it's fork on back to front. Bl00dy bike nerds! Eye-wink

I remember an interview once where he apparently rides it to the set every day then hangs on the wall... hmmmm

I'm loving 'GO' at the moment and I'm watching Seinfeld whenever it's on. I've also noticed that his bike is a Klein, but not noticed the missing chain. Will look out for any other oddities next time!

I've noticed the Cdale on the wall briefly but it usually is the lime green Klein. I've never noticed the missing chain but have seen the black, rigid forks on back to front.

In some outdoor scenes they stop to chat outside a bike shop with a Specialized sign in the window.
