My friend told me that i need to open a can of "harden the f... up" so this was number two in my new 6hour Sundays. Total time 6 hrs 40 minutes Glenbrook to Glenbrook. I noticed there has been some previous chat on NoBMoB about this ride.
Awesome training and my nutrition, hydration and hill climbing technique are improving drastically.
140 bpm average (75%) and 160 bpm peak (86%).
4948 kcalories. total distance is 106.40 kms @ 16km/h average.
Bring on the Fling!

Hey Pivot
Great time. I did this ride on Sunday, had a hard time and lots of stops, a bad stack on the downhill back to the gate of the Oaks 95km in (ran wide on the big left hand corner at full speed - hit the deck pulling about 45km/h ouch!), oh and I tore my hip flexor too about 20kms into the ride. All in all about 8 hours. A hard day at the office for me.

My PB is a 7hr 15min ish It is a great training ride. I love it. The 2nd Climb out of Bedford Ck is killer!

Sounds like you did it tough out there. This ride certainly pulls the punches. I was swearing like a trooper on some sections( noone was around to hear so that's ok). and as you said mate, awesome training.
hope your hip flexor isn't torn.
