I've got some time off over Christmas; I've only ever really ridden manly dam, red hill and Ourimbah. What trails should I try out close to home that is decent? single track or technical preferred.

Keep riding around there to better yourself on the trails you know

Red Hill that you've alreasy ridden is probably closest, but if you had lights you could rip around Longy golf course at night LOL

Unfortunately lots of Oxford Falls is now out of bounds.

Cascades if you like hills/climbing.

Or drive 2 hours and join me at Glenrock Smiling

Appin
Awaba
Yellowmundee

Further afield:
Majura Pines
Sparrow Hill

All nice single track

Or you could try your skills on the Great North Road out at Wisemans Ferry. That'll be nice and technical for you

Thanx for all the suggestions,

going out to yellomundee for the first time soon before the race on the 17th.

Yeah lights is a must for when winter comes around.

i've a friend, one of the nicest people really nice bloke, who lives nearby who and has exceptional local knowledge ... pm him on nobmob ... don't be shy he is a really great guy !!! if he has the time the same time as you have the time i know he would show you around ...

his nobmob handle is hewy_l and his real name is matthew (matt) lees ...

honestly give him a pm ... he knows that area like the back of his hand ... it is so much better than scratching around in the dark by yourself

Smiling
