Keep an eye out for an article in tomorrow's SMH summer section.
The snippet suggests quite a story and creates some suspense. May be nothing but looks like it might be a riders v's walkers/residents debate.
The picture assigned to the snippet has an MTB rider with a Bike Addiction jersey....
Wonder what this story might be about and whether we will see any of our reps interviewed?
My guess, something about Manly Dam.

Where'd you see the pic? In print or online?

They might have re-used some pictures from the shoot done for the old NPWS story[1]?

In print....
It will be in the insert.... the headline suggested some stoush but then that's what reporting and selling papers is about.
It may well be a storm in a tea cup or a new spin on an existing story. Thought you might have been across it but if not you'll know to look out for it (and others of course).

SMH should know that the ramifications of an inactive human being on the HEALTH SYSTEM especially now with obesity on the increase in children -frightening statistics really- http://mtbssn.info/node/11825 I think trails such as this are great for perhaps a long term goal but in the short term we (Mountain trail) riders need to get closer to the "fringe" short term to show the "NON" enthusiasts hey we're here and definitely not a weird bunch... And yes we do enjoy this "outdoorsey" stuff. There is a whole other world of "sickos" outside the lounge room (entertainment area without water burms Sticking out tongue ) which we are not a part of!!
