I went on a road ride last night, but went via the top of the Dam at Wakehurst Parkway to check it out. I'd stay well clear as there was a LOT of standing water and a LOT of run-off.

Started the ride and the dam was surprisingly dry. Halfway thru the second lap down came the rain. Lots of puddles forming in the usual places. Cut the ride short at the top of the parkway.

Went on a quick night lap last night. There's still some small puddles on the trail, mainly on the top side of the loop and just after the creek. Nothing too bad but certainly not what I'd call a...

Had a look at the Dam this afternoon and it is finally starting to dry out. Not yet worth bumping the rating up to green, but only the usual areas of water over the fire trails are really damp....

Although the trail is officially open the recent wet weather means there will probably be some wet patches.

Maintenance works appear to be still ongoing so take care.
