Manly Dam

Age Notes

Very dry. Some sections needing a trim (especially behind the crash barrier after the playground and boards). Nasty dips are beginning to form after some roll-offs, particularly around 19th hole...

No more puddles. Generally nice and dry.

Some substantial puddles through the golf course singletrack sections that are starting to chop out with bike traffic.

Better to give it a few days to dry out a little more.

Green 2 weeks

A few puddles around the top end of the golf course but not too bad. The bit of water has actually given the sandy areas a bit more traction. If the rain that is currently falling lightly gets...

At last light all signs down.

But.. new sign for single track along wakehurst/golf course, walkers now banned from this section.

Drying out pretty well. I completed an outer lap and could pretty much avoid all wet spots (from run-off).

Take caution though as there are a lot of very loose areas. Lots of small rocks...

Haven't ridden there today, but with the amount of rain yesterday and last night it'd be a shocker.

Plus it might as well be closed to me now until the 23rd of March (and longer)....

Lots of run off still as at 10am Friday - mostly after creek crossing to 19th hole. Drying out near Wakehurst. The track is very loose / sandy.

With the rain today adding to yesterday's soaking, the track will be a quagmire in a lot of places and easily damaged. Best to stay away until the rain has left us alone for a couple of days....

Lots of water, and some deep puddles around @ 6:30pm
heavy drenching that night and some solid rain thursday and today, suspect will be in a red status for the weekend.

Went out at 2pm. Mostly good, but lots of puddles on high side on single trail between bowlers and Wakehurst start. Probably best to leave a day.

Perfect at the moment.

Lots of grading recently around the fire road after heartbreak hill. The track should be quite a bit easier at the moment (till the next rain or two probably).

Everything is nice and dry in all sections. No water except at the creek. Ride and have fun!
