I'll be free of oversees guests soon so looking to go a bit further afield than the Dam, anybody fancy Ourimbah on the 17th, thinking around 9am? I see I just missed an Appin ride which is a shame.

Have family (read inlaw committments on Sat) but not Sun!

Also if it would be possible to scam a lift that would be great, I am in North Willoughby but happy to get train to somewhere if that would help people. I might have a car but not sure atm.

'bout space for a bike on my roof that is ...

- probably more for Appin but hey - will go with the flow. Haven't done Ourimbah but want to take the Singlespeed - is it rideable in one gear for XC course?

Ourimbah can be done singlespeed. One of the guys at work did it year before last at the FTF. I think he might have gone for a slightly shorter gearing (bigger rear cog), but I'm not sure.

He did qualify for and race at the 2009 24 solo worlds, so take that for what it;s worth. Eye-wink

I'm taking a rigid single-speeder out there tomorrow - wish me luck.

there on the weekend and Sean was fine on the single speed (but he is a freak!) he did suggest it wasn't perhaps 'the most' ss friendly course... I was more than happy on my dually! Smiling
