Hi there,

I just got this via e-mail and thought I pass it on. Sounds like a good idea.
Hope that's ok.

Hey guys,

for those who don't know, Mark is sending bikes to Ghana. You can see his
info at goodwillbicycles.com or at
http://bikeclub.wordpress.com/bikes-for-africa/. They are going to the
village bicycle project, mainly in Ghana - http://www.pcei.org/vbp/.

Some time at the end of next week, there should be a container coming to
Mark's place (where the bikes are), so that we can load the bikes into the
container to be shipped to Ghana. Many of the bikes are ready to be put in
the container, others still need their pedals removed and handlebars
turned.

Can anybody help out by coming along to Mortdale (Mark's house is 2 min
walk from Mortdale Station) next week and helping with loading, taking off
pedals or by generally creating a fun atmosphere for what should be an
exciting 1-2 days?

Let me know what days might suit you and whether or not a weekday is just
not possible for you. Depending on the container people, the date may
change, but we're thinking next week.

And let me know if you never want to hear about this again or if you do
want to know when more stuff is happening so that i can make a separate
email list so you don't get irrelevant email from joining this group.

please send the email around so that more people are aware of this project,
as there is always help needed (and more bicycles) if people want to
volunteer.
