last year that recorded negative official lap times, my best was about 10 minutes. Got to love end of daylight savings when your racing the clock. Not sure if it will happen again this year though.
My money would be on Gaz but I know he'll rip a tire side wall on one of the many sharp edge rocks that litter those trails and with no pump to fix it he will be out for a long walk. Pikey gets my money
It was hard to choose who to put in the poll. I actually looked at who had ticked the star to say they were going in the first place.
How about we make it a bit more interesting though, drink a can of beer before the start of the lap then GO.
it sounds like great SS training to me. Gazza and Pikey will be up for this foresure. Now to try and find some speights beer... (Im pretty sure this is what we will be drinking for world SS champs) or maybe Bernd has a bottle or 2 of home brew to donate?
you need!!!!!!
I can/will donate a Bier or 2 for this if needed! I have a case of German Style Weissbier!!! I will take it down there. ..(so the snorrrriiinnng foorrty's can get a little of track!)
I have made this one for the Mont, it is very, very nice. Lot's and lots of yeast and wheat in it!! Pikey will love it!
24 x 345ml bottles.......

If that rule is implemented, I wouldn't complete my first lap!
Having never actually ridden Sparrow coupled with my frat house ability to drink, I could see myself making a detour off course and making like Rob (of old hopefully) mid-lap...
Good Work Steve. The second lap should always be the quickest due to little or no traffic. Good to see you have still got a bit of speed left in the legs after the CCOMTB club round last week.
I even impressed myself......But being the manager of a winning 40+ mixed team puts a lot of pressure on oneself to perform at there best and I believed I did just that......thoughts do wonder into my head though that as I didn't have an "off" maybe I wasn't trying hard enough?????
I might take insult at that comment. I have emailed the organisers and asked them to remove me from the list, better be careful what you say Rob.
EDIT 2.06pm
Yep I stuffed up and jumped the transition of my team mate by 18mins, so even thou the results say I did a good lap - I didn't. Long but funny story. Apologies Rob.
Not only quickest lap but 2nd quickest as well, racing the young guys of nobmob is like taking candy from a baby, too easy
I'm betting next event they will be out to make me eat my words

on my team.... but as the 'elder' of the bunch wasn't toooo unhappy with a 56:45 lap.
I guess the the good thing is I don't recon I've peaked yet. There still a bit of corner speed I can squeeze out and do better in the future!

was the only person from all those I knew competing that passed me the whole weekend and he did so so fast I wasn't sure who it was that said hello. Next year I'll change my vote from Pikey - team captain - had to
go Junkie
I vote for Junkie because im on his team
Go Junkie
Don
Insults?
LOL... I'll bet there are a few people insulted by the (short) length of that list.
I note not many of your contenders partake in hot laps. They must be too shy
i've voted for Pikey,
as i recon a bottle of wine or a six pack should be the prize! HANG ON! that would be me fighting the hardest for the loot!
Bang on
That list is bang on (if only Irish Ray was here though). There are a couple of omissions though (both work for bike shops).
To be honest I couldn't call that, it hurts my brain to think about it..... can't wait to find out.
EDIT: It's been almost an hour and I'm still too scared to vote
I heard reports of guys on track

Tough Call
There wont be much in it.
Gav gets the vote but I wouldnt put it past Gazza to put in the fastest lap and Steve was right there on the weekend.

Pikey turns Gazza?
Come on down!
I do believe that Steve01 has the fastest 'honest' (not first) official lap with a 52:45. Well done Steve!
Other contenders in this poll:
Supagav - 54:07
Gazza - 54:25
AR Junkie - 57:56
Pikey - 1:04:29
Good
To see Pikey keeping these guys honest.
Well Done
