My New Light :D
Home made light that I made. The cost is shown on the Jaycar receipt.
Welding was done by my dad using spare bits of metal we could find. Mild steel is awesome to bend and shape.
The spring comes out of my old broken derailleur.
I haven't tested them yet to see if the one light is enough (300 lumen)

Haha yeah ive been down a mine before and this light is much better than the dim things they gave me!
I am a bit worried about hitting things but i will only really use it around the dam which i know really well.
Good job mate.. love the bracket. Might want to keep clear of any rain though
nah only 12volts wont short out bad.
and anyway i wont be riding at night in the rain - thats just miserable
I think our last ride at the dam was the last for 6pm start where lights weren't required.
