Wisemans Ferry - by the East ferry crossing (turn right bottom of the hill). There is a good parking area by the kiosk here.

Yikes - only 3 weeks to dirtworks! My last big ride was dirtworks 2009....
I saw there is a training ride on sat but I can't make it sat. I hope there are a few like minded who'll be up for a sunday flogging.
I want to do between 70 and 80ks. Minimal stops and a pace equivalent of doing the race in 6 hours. Std route. Up past claires bridge and then back same way. Down shephers gully (for the sheer fun of it) and road race back to the ferry for a well deserved protein bar.
Any takers?

Hi Staff - and all others - I am heading up to Wisemans with a group on Sunday morning too, we'll (me and my girlf and one or two others) be doing 60 - 70km probably, but slightly faster than you - probably at 5hr pace.
We'll be crossing the river and riding up the commision track, past the temple, 'over' Claires bridge, down Donnys track, up through Ten mile hollow, then up and down the GNR to the top of Shepherds gully before whooping our way down. Easy spin on the road to finish.
We'll see you in the car park. Big wheels and green kit.
We'll do it in 4 hours race pace!
Seriously, see you at the car park and when you pass us on the way back.
