Great ride!

Wow what a great race! Felt really good for the first 50 and pretty much the whole race really. Passed Groover just after the river crossing and I didn't envy his his upcoming hill climb with only 3 gears to choose from. Kudos for sticking it out. The race plan went pretty much perfectly with nutrition working smoothly and no cramps or mechanicals. That's the good news the bad news is I really have no excuses for not going around in under 5 hours. So close but oh so far. I only went 7 mins faster than last year when I felt completely crap - funny how the body works sometimes. I guess there's always next year. Congrat's to all the Mobbers who seem to be consistently improving their times.
