Latest installment of trail mapping.

This time it is the trails running from the ridge along Eleebana.

Brown is management trail, orangey and blue stuff is nominally walking and cycling trail (in most cases everything that's in orange is what I reckon would be a waste of time riding but YMMV)

Generally I just ride the fire trail that runs through the middle and continues into Tingara Heights but I decoded to explore what else is around.

The mtb stuff is only small but looks pretty fun. Enter off the management trail that heads up the hill.

The fire trail along the ridge is good. Parts of the others are pretty eroded and some sections are too steep to ride.

The single track to the right is kind of odd. It's not really mtb trail, I am guessing maybe motos and walkers but some of it doesn't look too frequently used. The one to the far right doesn't really have a trail head so you need to search in the bush off to the side of the fire trail to find it. Note I stuffed up the colour and the orange single track should be blue.

Next is to map out the Tingara Heights section.

I live in Newie too so I guess at the moment these tracks are soaked

The only bit I'd consider riding at the moment is the fire trail along the ridge. Its soft but not too bad.

The next section through Tingara Heights is probably pretty muddy. It has standing water even when it's been dry.

I used to ride DH there with the original trail builders. If you didn't see what was there 4 years ago prior to Council removing it in 2006 after a protracted negotiation, have a look at these two links. this was all directly off the end of Macquarie Drive.

There used to be some really good video footage of these trails as well, but I can't seem to find them. They were fun trails, but in the end their life was cut short.

It looks like a lot of the berms are still there. Not sure whether all of the current structures are original but they are well made.

It was always a fun spot to ride, not overly long but that was never an issue when your doing push runs.
