Rode the perimeter + long track today. Normal wet spots for the first 2-3 km from the starting point (oval), fairly good after that. A couple of big puddles on the long track warrant carrying your bike.

Do you have more information?

If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.

Surely that's an amber status at least?!

Looks like we made the right call to go (Duck Holes + Centre) x 2 then.

I was dropping the hint big time to quite a few groups of riders in the community centre carpark while I was topping up the carb stores for the ride home, but none were taking it. I might have to be more forceful next time, like "Ahem, maybe I'm not making myself clear..." Sad

By the sounds of it, perhaps this should be amber. Basically, green means the track is in great condition (which doesn't sound like it is), Amber means it's rideable but not ideal. Red means it's officially closed.

FWIW, these are fire trails so don't think we should worry too much about them. IMHO fire trails are fair game in any weather. I've seen massive ruts left by rangers and RFS after driving them in bad weather, nothing a bike do will even compare. Sure - the grinding paste might trash your bike, but that's another issue entirely.
