I'm in for sure. I've been waiting to try these trail out!

I was just saying to my mate the other day that I reckoned that after the rain this weekend it'd be getting properly bedded in!

So count me in, plus my GF and possibly another mate or two!

/edit: According to the Mt Annan Site, the parking for the trails is further south, at the "What's the Big Idea" garden parking (http://maps.google.com.au/?q=-34.081375,150.767312)

I might bring a BBQ (or a little camping cooker and a pan) and an esky for after ride sausages on rolls and some refreshments.

Ill be bringing my Helmet Cam to hopefully get some footage of the new trails, is anyone planning on getting the GPS data so we can add it to the rides section with some decent info?

CROMERBOY's picture

I will have my 705 - still learning how to master it, so no promises.

hope the weather doesn't put this opening off ,any one know if there has been much rain out camden way?

According to the BOM, they had about 1.2mm overnight. Not sure what that last storm that went through dropped on them, but not enough I imagine to close it down. I'll have another look at the BOM in an hour or so after they will have updated the hourly rainfall...

Looking good for tomorrow!

You guys haven't spent much time in the west have you. It doesn't actually rain out there. It can be belting down on the north shore and I'll be talking to my mother in Camden and it will be blue skies. This is also why Warragamba dam is hardly ever full, the catchment area doesn't get rain!!

Isildur's picture

Whatever rain fell when the storm went through wasn't enough to even register on their automatic rain gauge.

Looking forward to tomorrow! See all you Global-Riders there!

Have heard there is an entry fee to the gardens. Does anyone know if this is right? If so how much is it?

Scottboy's picture

it is $9.00per car up too 8 people to a car or $2.50 too ride in , it would be better too car pool if you can park outside the park somewhere & all go in one car if you can fit all the bikes in ?

ChopStiR's picture

I have read from someone else its $9.50 to get into the park and $2.50/rider to ride the new trails.

Fair price I think to ride a formalised trail and help fund them to build the black diamond (advanced) section of trail already planned (but lacking the funds).
