Was just looking at a friends photo's from the weekend on facebook.
He'd been to watch 'The Scott Trial'. Without doubt the hardest one day motorbike trial on the planet which is held every year in my local area of Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales.
i couldn't believe when i saw the Steve Peat was in it! Go on my son!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently he's a fairly accomplished trials rider. There was a MBUK recently featuring him and Douggie Lampkin (remember him from Kick Start?).

What a legend! I remember watching him coming through the ranks on Junior Kickstart.

Dougie Lampkin, MBE, also known as Doug, (born Silsden, West Yorkshire, 23 March 1976) is an internationally renowned English motorcycle trials rider. Born into a family steeped in motorcycle sport—his father, Martin Lampkin, was the first trials world champion in 1975, and his Uncle Arthur was also a regular winner on the British circuit in the 1960s[1]. Dougie Lampkin has won five consecutive World Indoor (1997–2001) and seven consecutive World Outdoor Championships (1997–2003). He has also won four World Team Championships (Trial des Nations) in years 1997, 1999, 2002 and 2003, six British Adult Championships, two Spanish Adult Championships and the world famous Scott Trial on three occasions.[2]

Lampkin now lives on the Isle of Man. In 2001, he was awarded an MBE for services to his sport.
