Area:
Manly Dam
Status:
Green/Open

Dear Riders,

I am pleased to announce: The track is once again OPEN!

Thank you again to those who stayed off the track and for the suggestions re: non-compliers.

There will be track maintenance taking place along the Wakehurst stretch early tomorrow and the track will therefore be closed from 7am till 8am (just the Wakehurst stretch – between water tanks and fire trail).

Please note that most areas of track have not undergone maintenance. Unfortunately they will remain the same for now and we will work them into the budget as quickly and effectively as possible. Thank you for your patience in this matter. Any photographs of areas that are in desperate need of attention are welcome.

Kind Regards,
Manly Dam Rangers

Went for a razz around the dam tonight big loop only though so not sure what the downhill to 19th hole entrance sections are like but the rest is super dry. Can't tell if rangers or trail fairies have done a bit of work but from golf rock to the parkway entry a lot of new rocks have appeared to smooth things out and to help with the lower lieing areas. New rocks have also been placed at the second set of step ups which has made it very easy to get up there now.

Dammit why not take the opportunity to put in a concrete ramp?

/sarcasm

(not a big fan of dumbing down if you hadn't guessed...)

Me neither just telling now it is. Rocks can be easily removed Smiling

Not having a dig at you at all, Reign Man. Just at the possible dumbing down of the track. Eye-wink

Rode it this morning for the first time in weeks. It's in pretty good condition. Pity I had nothing in the tank. :\
