Went for a ride on Perimeter & Long yesterday in the gusty conditions, expecting there to be a few branches or trees to have come down.
However, I didn't come across anything to worry about.
Also, I noticed that someone has tied up a series of red bunting tape at the end of Long Trail, that seems to lead down the cliff. I didn't follow it very far, but I'm curious if anyone knows what its all about?

Do you have more information?

If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.

Maybe NPWS are marking out a new bit of mtb-specific track they want to build to encourage mtb use in KCNP? Eye-wink

However, as it seems to twist steeply down the hill & NPWS don't seem very keen on downhill-specific trails - it seems very unlikely.
I was thinking that it might be the RFS up to something?

Ask NPWS? Give their office at Bobbin Head a call and describe what you saw?
