Track is in fantastic condition. A sprinkle of water would make it perfect.

we just came back from a riding camping trip in the Vic Alpine region and road Beechworth, Buller etc. On the way out of Beechworth we found some single track of about 2-3km all downhill, not sure how long the track is in total the trail seems to be separated by road. If you head out of town on the main rd to Yackandanda, go past the turn off for Chiltern C377 and as you come to a green sign on the left side (about 10-20mtr) that says something about a reserve you'll see some single track and hopefully the entrance. If you look across the road to your right you'll see the other part of the single track, not sure where this goes, we didn't have time to explore as we were heading back to Sydney.
So if you are still in Beechworth and have time, check it out.

Cheers, I think this is the woolshed downhill, I just did a couple of laps of the crosscountry and plan to ride the woolshed this arvo, I walked a bit of it on wednesday and it looks sweet, last day today and then off to Forrest-yehaa.

hey steve,
if only we got our dates right we could of met up, i left the forrest trails a few days ago! and there awesome!! the otways rock! i didn't take my bike but hired one down there. i would suggest picking up a map from one of the touristy places, forrest is imba designed, well signposted and marked. just a heads up, the two way section of tracks of where 7 and 15 meet and lead onto track 13 were really overgrown, but apart from that it was sweet!!!!!!!!
have fun mate!
