Hmm, where to begin.
Guess I started to make excuses again, sick toddler keeping me up most of the night, busy working on another "project", always something else to do, legs feeling "heavy" after last week etc etc. End result, skipped a couple of days exercise although I was still eating well.

Kick up the pants today from a Nobmob mate, thanks you know who you are.

No matter what happens I have to make the time to get off my arse and do some exercise and no, running around after others doesn't count.

All that said I've sat back and had a look at last week. Was disappointed with Saturday's ride. Really surprised my legs felt as sluggish and tired as they did, yeah had been on the trainer a bit last week but thats more saddle time and aerobic exercise than muscle sapping workout. Think I'm probably not getting the protien I need to aid with recovery, easily addressed. Will keep experimenting. Probably also need to increase carbs a little the day before.

Exercise
1/2 hr walk
2 x 10 push ups...... yep thats it

Intake
Porridge, supposedly it helps the cholesterol
Fruit juice with fibre added

Morning tea
Protien shake - 1/2 banana, teaspoon honey, 200mml lite milk, 3 heaped teaspoons protien. Should probably swap this for arvo tea, helps stave of hunger for ages

Lunch
Turkey salad sandwich, wholegrain bread

Arvo tea
Tim Tam (first real lapse of the journey so far)

Dinner
Lamb and steamed vegies
Coffee

On the coffee front, thanks John. Read your post the other day about the no sugar challenge and probably had a look on my face similar to what I'm sure you did when it was first suggested to you. Strange thing is I tried it and it isn't half as bad as I expected, probably the fact I've gone from 6 - 7 cups a day with 2 sugars in each to only 1 a day with 1. This should be a short term goal I can make. Please noone suggest I go to decafe latte's, that would be the straw that broke the camels back.

Still going strong with the nothing after diner, with the exception of todays coffee. New habits are well on the way.

Thanks again for the feedback, it does make a difference and also helps keep me honest.

Cheers
