Meeting Point:

cnr Forest way and warringah rd, Frenchs Forest
Details:

A 60-70km training ride in preparation for the Willo & Mont.
Takes in some really sweet technical single track, double track and fire road, tied together by a few road sections.

Start at Forest Way, and enter Red Hill at the top via Brooker Avenue (Beacon Hill). This takes us in at the top, and gives a decent run down to the rim trail. Round the Rim, and back onto the main loop, where we continue round and drop down to Wakehurst Parkway at the pumping station.
Cross over and ride along Oxford falls rd West, and up Nursery Rhymes to Oxford Falls fire road. A small diversion with some more single track then up to Morgan Rd.
Drop into the Cascades (awesome descent), then up Quarry trail to the Wildflower gardens. Along Mona Vale Single track, past the showground to Bunnings.
Here we can take the loop round to Terry Hills, and if keen out along perimeter and long, otherwise Centre/Duckholes, taking the singletrack from the top of Duckholes up to MonaVale Rd. More single track to the BMX track and then back towards Bunnings.
From here, single track drop back into Oxford Falls, and then a fireroad climb back to Forest Way.
I'm flexible with the route, and can add subtract as we go.
Some decent climbs, good technical single track, and a consistent steady pace.
Suit intermediate to experienced riders, and a decent level of fitness required.

And I haven't seen a number of those trails before so it will be good to check them out

Doc and I headed out this morning. Perfect weather, lots of single track, a *few* hills (almost 1000m climbing over 60km), and some stops along the way to take in the view.
