Spare Part for Pedros Floor Pump help

Hi all, was wondering if some fantastic human being could help me... I have lost a small plastic screw cap thingy from the base of my Pedros floor pump (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?M...) (it got knocked off whenm packed into the car or something). Now it is effectively useless as air just escapes through the open hole. Can anyone tell me where I could source spare Pedros parts? Or a bike shop in Sydney that stocks Pedros product to start with? Any help much appreciated, I can't bring myself to throw out an entire floor pump due to a missing part no larger than a marble. Thanks,

Could a self taper with a bit of silcone around it plug the hole?

use a marble then ?? If you use a plug don't use silicone as it might ruin the pump, instead use plumbers tape around the thread or glad wrap works too

thanks guys. there's some really good thinking in those comments. although, say i wanted to keep my pump looking genuine and i was concerned by DIY job wouldn't withstand 100 psi, does anyone know of a sydney bike shop that sells pedros gear or better yet who the distributor is for pedros in asutralia? that would be great.
also, with the above ideas, the challenge is that i can't plug the whole because there's an insert inside the whole and also the missing plastic screw cap thingy is the female part (goes around the outside of the plug).
