Area:
Manly Dam
Status:
Red/Closed

Manly Vale has kopp'd it today with the rain. The heaviest falls I've seen in over a month There's absolutely no doubt the trail will be wet wet wet. I haven't seen any official email from the rangers but eitherway I think we should still show caution, do the right thing, and stay off the trail for the next few days.

Torrential rain again all night long and no sign of it letting up. I call red light on the Dam.

Do you have more information?

If the rain at my place in Frenchs Forest is anything to go by the Manly Dam should be a red lighter by now . Not even atempting it as my bike doesn't float.

My little girl has kept me up all night and I can confirm it hasn't stopped raining all through the night. The falls this morning are torrential and the park opposite my place is now a swimming pool.

... and that only happens once or twice a year.

The Dam will be saturated and probably take a while to dry out.

Looks like Cascades / Terry Hills for a while once this rain stops falling

Unfortunately I doubt that will be in any better shape Sad Good luck with the creek crossings tho, let us know how deep they are.
