Hi,
Just about to order this as a chainring replacement for my XT hollowtec II (M770) crankset:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?M...
However, someone posted in the review that it won't fit with these.
I'm confused, looks like the right thing and would have ordered it already if not for that review...
On that note, what's your experience with any of the non shimano brands?

Thanks

Hi scale00 I just bought xt crankset 9 speed. I am converting to a single chain ring. I have 22,32,44 brand new ring for sale. PM me if you interested.

That ring will fit the m770 cranks. With older model XT cranks there is slightly different mounting interface. But even then it' s easy as to cut the plastic down to make the ring fit

With other brands. Blackspire and FSA rings last longer and perform flawlessly but come at a higher price

They also only fit one way round from memory.....

I did send the tech guys a message last week but haven't heard back from them. Anyway, I'm getting simplesimons rings now. Much easier and don't have to wait for CRC.
Cheers

Um, if you put any middlering on backwards all the ramps and pins are on the wrong side and shifting would be a bitch Smiling
