Went for a ride at 10am this morning from behind the fence fernlieh track over to sewer works rd, bottom of shute to powerlines and bailies soft and tacky but rideable, there is a large rut forming after the log rollover on BJ's rest of trail good

Do you have more information?

i'd bet that rut is a moto issue

I'm not convinced that rut is due to moto action. I think it is due to people coming off the b-line and breaking hard across the slope to get back onto the main line.

Bit of work and retaining will be needed there sometime. That or more rocks for an off camber rock garden.

could be, reason i thought it was moto's was due to it's rapid apperance. I rode one day, nothing to speak of, then 2 days later it was there. Pretty deep to be a breaking rut after 2 days.

as you come off the log it unweighs the rear end-it had gotten progressively worse til the point that the small rut caused you to break even harder & just snowballed the effect.

oh, i don't deny we contributed, but i don't buy that we have caused this much destruction. i mean, realy, we have riders reporting mini moto's going up bj's a day after a ride i've been on, then i go for a ride 2 days later and the rut is 3 times the size it was 3 days before.
