Winmalee warm-up
End of White Cross Rd, Winmalee, NSW. There's a small parking area here but it's a standard suburban street so overflow isn't a problem.
My riding buddy Craig and Myself are heading out for a bit of a training ride around Winmalee in the morning. We are meeting at the Whitecross carpark. Starting with a run along Shaw's Ridge, down the fast and loose descent into Bluegum Swamp then up the beast that is Bee's Nest to the lookout. From there we heading along Springwood Ridge, down the really steep technical descent into the Grotto. Then we'll hang a left and ride through Bluegum in reverse, back up the grinding Shaw's hill, along Shaw's Ridge in reverse. We'll then probably check out some of the disused stuff a few hundred metres into Shaw's to see if there is any potential there. Looking at probably 3hrs+ and maybe 30-40km.
