Puddles here and there but mostly dry and in good riding condition.

Do you have more information?

Did you do the dawn ride with the cloud in the valleys?... that's the best time.

Maybe a BMORC dawn ride there would be a good thing if we could get a clear sunny, freezing morning without too much wind.

Did a midday ride, clouds were there at the start of the ride but quickly dissapeared. Most amazing views ive seen.

I'm keen for a Narrow Neck BMORC ride. I've been talking about riding it for ages but never have.

Might be something to put only a few days before when we have a good weather forcast. The early winter mornings are the best times.. I used to do that at least once a week a few years back and when you are above the cloud cover its amazing... if you get the phantom falls like on the right of the BMORC banner its amazing riding through that. Only tradeoff is it is absolutely freezing, often with the ground frozen. Still if you get a good one the scenery is beyond any other ride I've done. As far as a fire trail goes as well its a lot of fun (except riding up the hills after going down them!)

True that last comment. 2 killer hills on the return trip.

I'm keen to try this as well. Does the firetrail have waterbars etc to make things interesting?

How about in 2 Sundays time? (August 7th)

There are some waterbars- ask Todd how he likes 'em!

After the gate it gets better with some pretty good bits and w/bars

Best fire trail around because of the views
And good for a yearly bash in the cold on a clear day

Looks good at this stage for the 7th for me.
