Loved it (Stromlo and Sparrow)

Went to ACT 2 weeks ago, and I absolutely loved the rides over there.

I went first to Sparrow Hills. Unfortunately, I went there a bit too late in the day, and I didn't want to get lost in the dark in an area I never been. Apparently the construction of the highway destroyed a big part of the loop. But still, I enjoyed riding under the pines, which is not very technical but much more about slaloming and managing your speed. According to the local, it's much more fun on the other side of the road, at Kowan Forest.

Next day, I went to Stromlo Forest Park. Probably the best ride I did in Australia. Very well organised, lots of cool man made technical part, impossible to get lost (but better take notes of the different track names, if you don't want to only follow the main loop). 360 view at the top is very nice… there is even a cafe to stop for beer. There was only 4-5 cars parked on that day, but according to the local, in the week-end it get packed… the car-park is big! Also, I would ride there in the summer, not much shadow like at Sparrow or Kowan.

Give me a car and extra day-off, and I will be back.
