Spiders trail head
Can anyone help with the location of the spiders trail off the
Great north road, rode there last sunday could not locate it.
Any help would be much appreciated, looks like a good challenge.

I tried out the Spider's descent last time I did GNR and it was overgrown, steep and eroded, and about 80% of the descent was unridable.
But if you're that curious, it's off the first major left past the top of Devine's Hill (about 500m after Shepard's Gully), to which it starts as a firetrail, but after several kilometres, becomes very narrow and steep.
If you try it, I guarantee you'll think it's a good track to try once, then do never again.
