Howdy I rode the singleiton track for the first time on Saturday. It was a lot of fun but I picked the wrong time of the day to do it (afternoon when it was hot). Anyway thanks to the rider who pointed out there were trees down across the track as I turned up. Not sure if it should be updated in the trail status but there were quite a few trees down. One set was 2.8km in to the ride according to my garmin. The other set were within a kilometer of the turn off where is says 4km to home one way 3km to home the other way along the 4km route. Looks like trees are just being cleared they were all chainsawed and felled across the path. I notice the current trail status says that the aboriginal site has been bypassed so maybe this was part of it. Someone with more trail experience could probably say.

Anyway just thought I would let you guys know, great work on the trail but if you havent ridden it recently yeah those tree's could be an issue at night or be a good haven for snakes so be careful when navigating them.

I haven't been up there yet since the tree were felled, it has been posted on our facebook page though. They were felled by a very inconsiderate TAFE class last week. the land manager has been informed of the mess they left and is organising a clean up hopefully this week. Sorry for not updating it but there are only about 3 of us up here that frequent this site.
Aboriginal site was down near the concrete water pipes, it has been bypassed by a section of track called deadmans gully.
I'll do an update now. Thanks.
