...and then find it's made of cast iron, with knock-off Shimano components. The BMW mtb on the same site for $580 or whatever it was would be an even more suss example.

The site itself is legit but they act seperate from the sellers who advertise on thier site and sell the 'too good to be true' products. According to some other sites you might get what you ordered or it maybe unavaliable.

My opinion is you'll get nothing but arsed around at best
These guys off Alibaba are difficult to get a straight answer from
These adverts are too good to be true

is a part of alibaba and nothing but trouble.

OP, are you sure you're not getting a "T2 TRI ROAD BIKE SIZE MEDIUM", that;s what the product options state on the main page and that would be aligned with the package weight of 10kg. Mind you, someone needs to find out for us if these guys are legit so how about you put your $450 down and let us know what happens. (BTW, I wouldn't use a valued email address as your point of contact, you will be inundated with SPAM)

Happy shopping

At the bottom of the page there is a link to the T2 TRI Road bike. It also seems a nice bit of kit and too cheap also (not that I know anything about road bikes)

It'd be interesting to see what turned up on the doorstep. I'm not willing to use my money though! Smiling

they must be legit if you can buy a pinerello on there http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/102258478.html , seriously there was a guy on another mtb forum who got one and built it up, he loved it apparently but it wasnt the correct size for him, and you see a lot of the carbon road frames on ebay from the same people listed on ali express

Package size is listed as 25cm x 25cm x 20cm (9.84in x 9.84in x 7.87in). That's a tiny, tiny bike!

I think Wang just might be pulling your chain...

If you clicked Buy on this you quite possibly might qualify for a clear cut win in the Darwin Awards for 2011. Taking out all challengers!

This forum cracks me up at times...

Like shooting fish in a Barrel.

Bloody entertainment plus!

Oh yeah and that Pinarello is a real one too .... NOT.

And my great aunt just clocked under 10 seconds for the 100M or was it the world basket weaving champs she just won ??? Oh shit ... I dunno ... I get confused so easily.
