Has anyone hired a bike in Forrest, Vic before?

I have only got a little bit of time to go riding whilst I am over there so I don't want to take a bike over for a full trip. There is one mob that pops up online but I am curious who people have sed in the past.

Thanks

The good folks at Torquay Cycles(about a 1.25hr drive from Forrest) hired me an Anthem about 3 years back. What was impressive was the that the bike belonged to one of the guys who worked in the store and cost I think maybe $50-80 for the day.Forrest has such sweet trails that you could easily spend two days linking up the impressive circuits North & South of the township.

i took my bike last year
definitely worth having your own bike there
the closest shops are in colac
take a few days to stay at the forest guest house
and if you ask nicely norm d or the brew crew, might take u for a ride

Hi Wally,
Try mtbskills Australia. They are based in Forrest n have good condition giant bikes - anthem, trance etc at very reasonable prices.
I did a ride with them and hired a bike from them plus picked up some new skills too. I would recommend them as trail guides too - Afterall they are involved heavily in the building and maintenance of trails in the area!
I wouldn't hesitate to ride with them again if I had a chance!

Feel free to pm me if you want any more details!
Alex
