Capital Punishment Water Stop?
Does anyone know if there is a water refill station during the "non-race" section through the streets of Canberra? I'm doing the 50km and hoping to get away with just one bottle.

Not from what I remember, however plenty of shops to stop at on the way through if you want.
Maybe I'll just take 2 bottles... I think it would feel a bit weird going into a shop half way through a race.
Last year I went with a $20 note in my back pocket, and rolled into the servo during the 'break' and bought some drinks and some food. I had to join a queue - it was the most surreal experience in a race.
The lady looked at me so strangely when I also told her I didnt want the $7 of change (in coins) - and to give it to charity.
I'll be doing the same this year though.
Does seem weird, but makes sense.
