Perimeter & Long trails (via Nerang) - good to go. One easily avoided bog - some new ruts to keep an eye out for but best I have seen it for a while

Some erosion ruts and holes to watch out for on the downslope side of some the waterbars behind the houses on the section just before the Japanese school turnoff coming from the Nerang end.

There are also a few sand drifts in some unexpected spots on corners - saw a couple of tyre tracks through those head off into the bush!

Stay alert and light on the bike and you should be fine. Apart from the creek crossings and the bog mentioned above, pretty dry. It's nice e to come home with a drive train that doesn't sound like it's full of sand for a change. Smiling

There is also an awesome sand bunker.... ahhhhh eeeemmmmmm.... wrong sport but none the less make sure you keep to a side because I hit the thing at speed and literally fishtailed around for about 15 metres or so.

Sand Traps are what caught me out. Flying along, thinking your sorted, then all of a sudden your headed for the bush!!!

Stay light on the front wheel!@#$%@#$%
