Sydney Spring Fat Tyre Festival - 2007 Lap

This profile is recored from lap one, which started down by the bottom carpark and climbed up firetrail to allow the field to spread out before hitting single track (where the actual course for subsiquent laps started). It's a nice intro to Ourimbah and that climb on the firetrail allows a nice warm up before the single track.

This is somewhat different to other Ourimbah courses as after the Graveyard (this is signposted - but basically the really wiggly, flat section bottom of Roller Coaster) one climbs back uphill and through some pinchy little sections that are a real test. After this there's another wider climb before one comes down towards the start in the opposite direction to how most people would ride this section. Then climb back up switchbacks on that hill and meet the firetrail where you first cut in. This is where the above profile ends so you can hit another lap or cruise back down the firetrail where you started.
