had planned on it, entered, booked accommodation, support crew and flights for us both.
BUT.... busted my wrist at Ourimbah 8 1/4 hour.. will be in cast with wires until mid - Jan, so insufficient time to get fit for the event.

Accordingly and with great sadness withdrew this week. As an FYI, entries are closed, and accommodation has been booked out for months.

SO over it already....

Mrs Sly and I together with 2 other mates are going to be there. Looking forward to the race and seeing Tassie. Accommodation is all sorted apart from one night that could end up being be in tents on the side of the road.............

yeah we had to scratch together accommodation. its all sorted, its just not as close to the events as it could have been. its actually the old man racing, i don't have a spot because i thought i wasn't going to be able to make it but im gonna tag along anyway now. Dad's part of a corporate team.

Btw, what are you planning to take as far as spare equipment/tools etc?

btw, what sort of things are you taking in terms of spares and tools?
