In todays Newcastle Herald there is a little article about this happening tomorrow at 10am at the Gun Club entrance-"an experienced guide will take families through hidden sections of the Glenrock State Conservation Area during the free 2 hour ride".Who reckons they will bomb down BJ's then back up It Happens & fang across Shaft & all of the hard stuff? me thinks not!

Some months ago I was approached by the NPWS to organise volunteers from the GTA to guide this, which I had agreed to do. No further contact has been made by the organisers and I had assumed that it was off.
Now I find out at the last minute, I had to ring their manager, that it is still on and is being led by NPWS ‘Discovery Guides’ but we are welcome to join them.
The numbers were also capped at 16, I assume because they didn't have enough guides.
I only found out this 10 minutes before start time this morning so it was too late to do anything.

To say I'm a little frustrated with NPWS would be an understatement.

Carpark was not even full so I reckon it did not happen!
