Area:
Manly Dam
Status:
Green/Open

Despite a short but heavy downpour yesterday evening in manly vale the Dam was still clean and dry this morning.
Also saw a group of riders at the 19th hole - nice to see others out there at 5:30!!

I know 5:30 am may be too early for the Butcher of Gibbs, but does anyone have an update if that little pecker is still on a rampage, or has it mellowed out a bit these days?

But that doesn't mean he has stopped swooping - he might have been busy attacking others Smiling

Might be time to start riding up Gibbs St again...

I go round maybe 3 or 4 mornings a week, not seen the bird for at least three weeks now.

Massive rain storm hitting manly vale now (9pm), not sure how dry the track will be tomorrow!

Anyone been out there today ?
Horrible weather this week Sad

It is less dusty but generally clear with just a few puddles on the Wakehurst Parkway Singletrack - all pretty much avoidable.

Still "green/open" Smiling

Keep an eye out for a little echidna, I saw him at the begining of the single track. I stopped and said hello and took a couple of pics, he just curled up and ignored me. Then I passed a couple of wallabies bounding down Maybrook firetrail-what a cool ride home- much prefer the nature here to the Brown snake we passed at My Annan on Saturday!

Definitely still green. Seen puddles alot worse than were around yesterday night at 7:30. Saw no wildlife though which is a bummer and defintely didn't get swooped by the "angry bird". Getting close to below forty for a lap too which I am quitely proud of.

Still green this morning

A couple of puddles, nothing major. But quite slippery - it's not very fast - I was 2 mins down on my average over the last couple of weeks
