Mavic spokes?
I've broke a rear spoke on a Mavic Crossmax ST wheel and am finding it acpain to find a replacement.
Can anyone suggest a shop they know in Sydney(North) that deals with Mavic?
Or an even longer shot, has anyone got a spare spoke, maybe from a damaged/old/worn out Crossmax ST?

Hi gazza , have had this problem before and the spoke was$11 each and a month away lol
My lbs just used a std j spoke and bent it straight and voilah - did the job. And yes it ended up lasting

GAZZA, I've got them from Bike Addiction. Let me know the length you are after as I might have a spare you can have while you find a replacement. Also, try TWE as he might have some.

It's a long shot. 3 days before the JetBlack 24 I noticed a broken spoke on my XT rim.
That place in North Manly wanted my bike for a week to get the spoke & repair it. They don't keep stock of those type of things. And obviously only order once from Shimano every week.
I spoke to the owner of the above shop who had them in stock. In my hands the very next day.
I might take you up on that offer but will look when I get home for length.
Thanks to everyone else. I spoke to Mark at Maruya bicycles and although they didn't have one in stock, he seemed like a helpful chap!
Gazza, I have one that is 266mm and one that is 274mm
Thanks for your generous offer but i've had a message from a member in Perth and he's gonna send me a couple from either side of the wheel from a dammaged set he has!

I gave him a set at last years 24hr I got them from Blackmans I think & try bike shed Mortdale too .
The guys that import Kona are also the Mavic importers. Try Adrian at Belrose Bicycles as they are a Kona seller.

I'm gutted, i broke one today and was just going to pop into clarence street bike shop tomorrow for a new one. Any one find out any more info on who sells them?

265mm there abouts. Its ok i see Belrose Bicycles are a Kona/Mavic dealer and they're just up the road from me so I'll take the wheel to them.

Getting the wife to drop it off at belrose bicycles tomorrow. I hope it doesn't cost much to do as it's hard to hide the cost from the wife when she's the one that's going to pick it up :/
Aido looked after me when a spoke needed replacing on my Mavic SLR wheelset. Mine was a bt more expensive labour-wise as the nipple was corroded and needed drilling out of the rim.
$20 at belrose bicycles, going out to the dam to possibly break something else
Seeing as they're not traditional spokes.
