I started riding at Bayview at around 6:30am It looked like it was going to start raining any moment. I have no idea how hot it was. But it was extreemly pleasant. For most of the morning nothing changed. overcast not too hot great conditions for going hard. it took me 2 hrs to get to Manly Dam via Centre track St Ives sniggle & the cascades. I did a 82km MTB ride. extreemly happy with my effort. But it didn't start getting really hot until about 12 noon. I wasn't far from home, I look up and the sky was crystal clear. I really enjoued the cooler conditions in the morning. I absolutlely love the warmer conditions at home in the afternoon. What a awesome day.

I'm Hading for Hornsby tomorrow morning......can't wait.

I didn't race today, I rode for the soul.

Sensational day... Was that you I met at the top of Quarry?

My small riding posse thought the same thing! Too busy out there for strava runs, just enjoy the ride. Didn't enjoy tearing my sidewall on the st Ives sniggle though... But still managed to limp back (via cascades) with a borrowed "Holey" tube.

That's me... Was about 11, running late to meet the fam at St Ives and do a few laps of the bike track with the kids.

Here's to a few more days like that for riding over the next few weeks!

Profile pic is of the old steed.

New one is more of the same flavour (Epic), just given the ACME "just add water" treatment! Smiling
