After riding the Demo version of this bike at Malaga Cycles over the last couple of days, all i can say is WOW. It climbed really well, and went down every track i threw at it with ease. The 29er wheels make the bumpy stuff on the kalamunda circut null and void....and it rolls bloody fast when it opens up.
It Would've be even better if it was 100% setup for me (ie bars cur down etc etc...)
Now i just need to save up.....

I got my Trance a few months ago, I have the x1 though.

I didn't trial many bikes but I'm very happy with it.

I find the front pops up quite easily on steep rocky climbs, not enough to roll you back off the bike but enough to through you off your cornering line sometimes. Just have to lean forward or stand sometimes to even up the weight as the rear wheel is tucked under the seat so much.
Makes up in the way the bike descends through, It does definitely fly's down nice flowy sections and eats up all the jumps/ drops and bumpy sections you throw at it.

A lot of people are against the 29ers as they are not as agile, I haven't had any recent experience on a 26 FS bike but riding the Trance with bigger wheels makes the ride so much smoother and the rear can easily be whipped around to keep the bike well in control.

Well
The front probably feels like it pops up because the wheel base on the 29r trance is in fact shorter than the 26 in trance

I just want to get it dirty! Laughing out loud
