City Bike depot in Kent Street do a great job and they are the cheapest in the city as well I think....

A few people on here use them as their LBS....

+1 for City Bike Depot, even bought my bike from there and the staff is nice. In the Eastern Suburbs its more a road bike land, and high price!

I've had good experience with MC Cycles Maroubra.
Great bunch of guys @ the Maroubra shop.

I dont have any experience with the MC City Giant concept store
For Fork servicing though id recommend TBSM in Mortdale.

Woolys Wheels at Paddington, not sure how they compare price wise but the mechanics have always done a good job for me.

I live in the E subs and have tried most of the shops for various services.

I now go to Mortdale for any substantial jobs.

Have you looked on YouTube for the coil swap? You might find that it's fairly straightforward.
