Trail fairies were out (including myself) preening the track, and all good, though still a bit boggy in the big dipper region of the track, and it's coped with the atrocious weather pretty well. Hats off to Synergy trails for knowing how to keep the track mostly mud-free.

... up near the pool just before you get to the timber bridges. They messed with my head when getting over the rock onto the timber - the sand and mud stuck to your tyre made it very slippery.

But overall, not bad and not that busy today.

When is phase 2 starting? Smiling

How did the scapel go at OMV hawkeye? I had planned to do a lap of OMV this morning but ran out of time after doing Berowra valley, and I may have been a little fatigued as well Smiling

Hopefully work on phase 2 will start very soon given Jubes is basically done?

Smiling Just need to deal with a slippy seatpost, but a bit of Ritchey carbon grease will fix that.

Unfortunately my skillz suck Sticking out tongue No incidents to report, but a few bobbles on the slippy section I mentioned and one switchback that just kept messing with my head. You're always nervous on a new bike - until the first scratch Sticking out tongue

That place sure works your core muscles. Started missing a few lines here and there by lap six so it was time to call it quits while everything was still in one piece!

PM me if you want the unofficial update on phase two - but let's say don't hold your breath for the rest of 2013!
