Amber/Some Issues

Firetrail from the Tarmac in Glenbrook to the Middle gate has been graded and currently a massive sand pit. This can be avoided if travelling from woodford and then riding the single track from the middle gate back to Glenbrook.

Also worth noting the park will be closed this week.

Attention - Glenbrook closure
Glenbrook precinct of Blue Mountains National Park will be closed on Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th and Friday 20th December to allow for major road surfacing to be completed at Glenbrook park entrance, on roads, car parks, and at Euroka. For visitor safety there will be no access to the park during these times. Bike riders will not be able to exit via Glenbrook.
These works are part of our ongoing upgrade works to improve visitor facilities in the Glenbrook Precinct.

I hope they sign the top gate properly then. A return trip wouldn't be to fun for those not prepared.

That wouldn't bother you Steve with your down then up running of the Oaks lately... ;o)
Agree wholeheartedly with Char's assessment of the fire trail up to the Oaks however. I lost over five minutes just in the 8kms from my normal times on Sunday - and then I beat my previous gate-to-gate oaks run by six minutes, so I wasn't hanging around!
