Found some great single tracks at Marmong Point, Lake McQuarie over Easter.Start from toilet block, ride up grassy hill behind houses, across the gravel fire trail road into a single line, follow main track. Bridges the lot.
Have fun.
Cheers

Is that between the road and the water? Or up behind the houses in the back roads.

It's in the national park between the lake and the Ridgeway road to Bolton point.

Alarm bells!

Be aware of the legal consequences if this is in a National Park. Not that anyone is saying that but you locals should check.

It's a state conservation area.

Building trails on land you don't own is illegal - ie pretty much every trail I ride has either been illegal or is illegal - with the sole exception of Awaba.

I love riding the legal trails in glenrock, but Thankyou to the people who built most of it before it was legal.

NPWS are all over this trail.

They called me a last week after finding the trail, then finding it on a few places on Facebook (most notably the HMBA page). They have the name of the people who posted it, and admitted to building it in one of the posts.

Not sure if they will take action, but I suspect the trails will be gone soon.

I must admit, I thought the land was Crown land under control of LMCC until I got the call asking if I knew anything about it. Until it was pointed out to me, I knew nothing of them.

Hahaha, people can't keep secrets, I have been removing marking tape and signs from trails near me, you don't advertise unsanctioned trails, idiots!
