Its not perfect but its the best its been for a long time.

Also noticed several sections where riders are going around obstacles instead of trying or just walking them. This is leading to trail widening.

Jolly poor form!

Maybe the trail fairies need to put in some b lines?

the fairies could build some alternate double black diamond AA+ lines instead. /devils's advocate

There are a few spots at Red Hill that can be challenging on a rigid 29er SS, especially in terms of keeping a flow going. But that's no excuse for trail widening, and certainly not a reason for adding B-lines.... Getting off for a short stroll, chopping the tempo to navigate a step or tree stump, or going back for a second go at clearing an obstacle is what MTB used to be about.

Whan did it become shameful to have a dab or unclip, or justification?

Gosh that's a big step down from my high horse.......

It's a plan to create so many shortcuts that eventually you won't have to leave the carpark.

I blame Strava and motorbikers and....

I might just put some whopping great boulders in the right areas to stop people going around.

Yeah the motos have killed red hill so I wouldnt worry about MTB making lines wider its more likely the motos they have turned single trails up there into fire roads.. its my local i love the place but its a moto trash pit at the moment,,
