Hiya, I'm getting a frame made up to mount my Thule 591's on as a rear rack and just wondering if someone can let me know the size of the auxiliary plate for a bike rack so I can get mounts for the lights and plate fitted.

Cheers

The one I have here is 250 x 100mm

Mounting holes look to be 5mm diameter & 12mm (to centre) in from each corner.

The Thule light board has always worked well for me. Holds the Bike Plate and has a full set of lights - which plug into trailer socket. The board straps onto bike cross bar, which keeps the lights high and visible.

Thanks Rob,

Ray, I've just changed cars so no more roof racks so getting a frame made to fit the hitch towbar and reuse my existing racks. For around half the price of one of my 591's I get a frame with lights and my racks refitted.

That sounds like a great plan. Could you post a pic. when you have it?
