Beginner mountainbiker in Freshwater

Hi guys,

I've moved over to the Northern Beaches within the last year, living in Freshwater - and have got myself a Specialized Camber mountainbike that I'm keen to put to some good use.

Have taken it out a couple of times to Manly Dam but am hoping to find some other riders to hit the trails with, and who can show me some of the other riding spots around here.

I've not really done much riding since I was a kid (I'm now in my mid-30s) but want to get fitter, meet some new people and have a bit of fun tearing around the bush trails.

Is anyone meeting up sometime soon at Manly Dam or anywhere nearby?

G'day mate, welcome to the awesome sport of MTB'ing. Check the calendar for ride days and take yourself along. Plenty of riding can be had in the Nortern Beaches and if you have transport some great trails within an hour to an hour and a half of Sydney.

Ride calendar will also give info on up coming events if you want to get the half marathon / full marathon experience. Events in ACT (Capital Punishment and The Kowalski Classic are by far my favourite and well worth the trip).

I sometimes head around the dam (rode today in fact) and would be happy let you know when I'm next heading out that way.

Happy and safe riding Eye-wink

Hey dude, I live in Freshie and ride most weekends with some locals too, so if you are keen to ride send us your number and I will let you know when we are riding.
